19L Set of Five Two-Hole Peach Conch Shell Buttons, 1/2"

Set of five 1920s to 1940s antique pale peach conch shell buttons. These two-hole, sew-through small shell buttons have a rich, feminine luster and a round center eye. 

Measure approximately 19L, 19 lignes, 12 mm, or 1/2".

These buttons were most often used to fasten lightweight lingerie, bed jackets, and feminine blouses made of lightweight fabric. A natural material, Mother of Pearl is made from nacre (the inner layer of shells).
