A set of antique Victorian Filet Lace curtains, consisting of one pair and one extra panel, for a total of three panels.
The majority of the stitching is hand-done, with some areas using machine stitching for added durability. The mesh netting is made from chemical lace, while the edges and border are designed with sturdy linen filet lace.
Dimensions: The shorter side measures approximately 120” x 40”. These curtains do not have a rod channel, as they were originally intended to be attached to rings for easy sliding on a rod.
The length on each side is uneven; we believe this is because the linen lace edging was not stretched properly after laundering. So when next cleaned, proper stretching will be required to remedy this.
Condition: We’ve included detailed images to show the most noticeable flaws, though there may be minor imperfections not captured in the photos.
