Jordan was a noted travel photographer who used an 8x10 view camera to capture the historic scenes for his series. The reverse features his characteristic ornate scrollwork banner and a prominent flag cancel postmark from Canton Ohio dated December 23 1908. A green one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is affixed in the upper right corner.
