1909 Birth Announcement by Dwig Postcard

1909 vintage postcard. A delightful birth announcement was illustrated, and the artist signed DWIG (Dwiggins). A silly little child is wrapped in red cloth and hung from a scale. 

This type of postcard is known as a "blank" because the sender fills in the blanks. The scale instructs the sender to draw an arrow indicating the weight of the baby. It is printed beneath the baby.
