1970s Vintage Guerlain Paris Shalimar Flacon Chauve Souris Bottle France 1 Fl Oz

1970s vintage Guerlain Paris Shalimar perfume bottle. Flacon Chauve Souris bottle design. Shalimar bottles are notorious for their difficulty in dating. We have found the most effective way to date them is by examining the bottle stopper. This bottle has a glass with a plastic dowel stopper dating the bottle from 1973 to 1980. 

The bottle size is one fluid ounce, but as seen in the images the bottle is only partially full. The color and deep richness of the scent formula lends itself to a headier 1950s Shalimar, but the stopper tells us otherwise. The base is acid etched with the following, indicating this bottle was made by Cristal Romesnil: "Bottle Made In France, Net Content 1 Fl Oz." We combine shipping and invite you to visit our other listings.
