Manufactured in the Czech Republic in the 1930s by glass maker Karl Palda. The firm of Karl Palda was founded in 1888 in Haida, Nový Bor, Bohemia (now the Czech Republic). Indecipherable enamel mark on the base, as shown. The most coveted pieces produced by Palda are the innovative Art Deco, geometric pieces made between 1933 and 1938.
