1909. Scarce card. "Hiawatha" An excursion steamer boat seen here between New Albany and White City, Indiana. Built in Dubuque, Iowa in 1882, and originally called the W.J. Young Jr. Converted into an excursion boat in 1906 and given the name Hiawatha. On November 30, 1911, it burned at the base of Broadway in Louisville. This would be a lovely addition to any collection or look fantastic framed.
