1930 Nunez Furniture Ronda Spain Trade Card V Postcard

The 1930s or earlier, as the address on the card, is not found in any archival information documented for the furniture maker after 1940. Handwritten in pencil on back: "maker of Spanish furniture Ronda" 3 x 5 3/4 inches. Condition as shown.

Manuel Dominguez Nunez, Builder of Antique Spanish Style Artistic Furniture. Ronda, Spain. Nunez founded a school and is credited with establishing Ronda's furniture manufacturing sector. He was awarded the medal of the Royal Order of Isabella the Catholic. The Silver Medal was established on 15 April 1907 to reward non-commissioned officers and junior civil officials. It is the highest civil honor granted by the Kingdom of Spain.
