1908 Old Fort Place Fort Wayne Indiana Vintage Postcard

1908. A vintage lithograph postcard from Fort Wayne, Indiana, with four visitors. It was by far the most sophisticated and meticulously designed all-wooden fort ever built in North America. The quick westward movement of the frontier was the reason Fort Wayne was abandoned after only three years of service, not the fear of the Native Americans. This would look great framed or as a lovely addition to any collection.
