1940s Vintage Plus Size Stockings

Plus size pretties. Vintage thigh-high stockings.

Measured flat (not stretched, doubled where appropriate) approximately:
10 inches toe tip to heel
27 inches from thigh to center heel

Vintage era: late 1940s to early 1950s. Seamless. Color: Gray Beige, a subdued, classy, grayish beige popular for the period. RHT, reinforced heel toe. New old store stock. Boarded. 260 needle: 260 indicates these are a finer yet more durable density than lower needle stockings. 100% Mercerized cotton: Mercerization is a process that increases luster in the hosiery. Mercerized fibers absorb more dye, making the color brighter and richer. Wear with a corset, garter belt, suspenders, or roll garters.
