1930 Pagan Caves Überlingen Germany Vintage Postcard

1930. Caves of the Godless, in the 18th century, housed the poor and homeless until they were partially destroyed by the city of Überlingen in order to drive them out. Artificially hewn corridors and chambers in a rock face in the Goldbach district of Überlingen on Lake Constance. Also called Heidenlöcher. This would look great framed or make a nice addition to any collection.
