1909 Father & Screaming Kid Vintage Postcard Artist Carmichael

1909. "I Love My Wife But Oh You Kid" Delightful comic card of a father carrying a screaming baby. The vignette is complete with "Our Darling" imprinted on the baby bed. A full moon is seen through the window. Artist signed Carmichael '09. Carmichael's works were sought after due to the popularity of his Sunday comic strip "Spare Ribs and Gravy."
