1908 Bringing Home the Christmas Tree Vintage Postcard

1908. This is by far one of the most beautiful pastoral postcards from the Romantic Period we have seen to date...but can someone please explain why Grandpa, with his cane, is the one who is carrying the Christmas tree? Seriously, though, we don't think you're going to find a prettier card than this one."A Merry Christmas" greeting. This would look great framed or make a nice addition to any collection.
