1980s. This solid silver pendant is a reproduction of a pre-Columbian lizard. The spread-eagled lizard is a common petroglyph found in many zones of Colombia. This pendant was originally purchased in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Gift Shop following the inauguration of the Michael C. Rockefeller Wing in 1982. Measures approximately: 56 x 42 mm. weighs 26.6 grams.
