1970s Vintage Pearl Sapphire Pendant by Krementz

1970s. This darling pearl and lab-grown sapphire pendant is made by Krementz using the English Sheffield silver process. The famous jewelry process bonds a layer of 14k gold with a layer of stronger base metal. The layers are then rolled into super thin strips, giving the metal a unique, mirror-like reflective quality. Krementz & Co. is one of the oldest and largest manufacturers of luxury jewelry in the United States, dating back to 1866. The firm is known for its high-quality pieces and pure refinement.
