1960s Vintage Juliana D&E Green Butterfly Brooch

Attributed to DeLizza & Elster green, yellow, gold tone filigree brooch. Measures approximately 1.5 x 2 inches. 

While D&E  jewelry was unsigned, there are ways of identifying pieces as genuine D&E by quality, design, and smithing techniques. The elegant design, fine quality metalwork, open-back colored stones, puddling on the back, and the particular fastener confirm its identification as a desirable Juliana d&E piece. The colors and quality of this piece are astounding. The elegant marquise cut stones are blue-green, the rounds are peridot green, and the golden stones are a deep citrine yellow.
