1960s Vintage Plus Size Cotton Stockings

1963 opaque cotton thigh-high stockings. The Ruth Barry brand name was first used in 1963 with the introduction of these cotton thigh-high stockings. These were popular with active sporting women and domestic maids. 

Stockings measured flat (not stretched) approximately: 
10 1/2 inches toe tip to heel 
28 inches from thigh to center heel 

Spanish Olive Green. Stretch top. Made in USA. Seamless. Oversized; plus size stockings. RHT, reinforced heel toe. Never worn. 260 needle, similar to a thread count for finer sheets. 260 indicates these are finer yet more durable. 100% combed cotton, a softer version of regular cotton.
