1950s Vintage 32DD/E Purple Bullet Bra

1957 vintage Charmode bra features its "famous free-action, suspension straps that lift and hold a perfectly balanced bustline." Circle stitch with both vertical and horizontal shaping.

Self-adjusting suspension straps. Soft cup bra: wireless. Net-lined for comfort. Circular-stitched cups. Cotton broadcloth. Pale eggplant purple. Made in the USA. Charmode Suspension, Made in USA (Sears house brand). Tagged a 38B, but incorrect - see the actual measurements above. 

Overdyed to disguise hard water stains. Please note any "dusty white" coloring is from it being freshly laundered with liquid starch, a result that will vanish with wear and future laundering. Not a whole lot of stretch left in the elastic, as is common with vintage elastics. There may be mends, darns, or other signs of wear and/or repair related to this piece. Handwash separately in warm water; line dry will best suit the longevity of this vintage foundation. It is okay to use spray starch and "cotton" iron setting should you wish to add to the fabric's stiffness and enhance its shaping features.
