1950s Vintage 32D Crescent Cups Bra

The 'Crescent Creation' was a super-desirable design feature in the late 1940s to early 1950s bra. Why? Because the crescent stitched uplifts make an enticing, yet natural, silhouette. Soft cup bra: wireless. Cotton. Pale plum purple. Unlined. Crescent stitched, lightly padded lower cups for added uplift and support. Made in the USA.

Overdyed to disguise hard water stains. Please note any "dusty white" coloring is from it being freshly laundered with liquid starch, a result that will vanish with wear and future laundering. Not a whole lot of stretch left in the elastic, as is common with vintage elastics. There may be mends, darns, or other signs of wear and/or repair related to this piece. (The right cup shows some darkening in particular). Handwash separately in warm water; line dry will best suit the longevity of this vintage foundation. It is okay to use spray starch and "cotton" iron setting should you wish to add to the fabric's stiffness and enhance its shaping features.
