The reverse includes an ornate scrollwork banner with the phrase \"This side for the address\" printed below.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe handwritten message on the front reads: \"Can't go to Turkey Foot on Thursday. Dear friend. Received the letter and had I read it sooner could have left and answer. I am not offended or disappointed as I had no arrangement made.
