1934 vintage topographical view postcard. The Gran Vía de las Cortes Catalanas. This avenue is 13 km long and was known as Avenida de José Primo de Rivera during the Franco dictatorship. In the photograph, we can see the front facade of the current Coliseum Theater in Barcelona, Spain. Photograph by Adolfo Zerkowitz, a pioneer of landscape photography in Spain who brought the common picture postcard to an artistic level. This would look great framed or make a nice addition to any collection.
